How are you? I’m Christie.
An inquisitive, multi-faceted designer with a genuine fascination for all things human.
My most recent job was to design a responsive website for a non-profit charitable company called The Gratitude Foundation from concept to completion ready for development hand-off. Coming from a graphic design background, I also recently completed my UX Design certification at Career Foundry and specialization in UI Design.
A Little More About Me …
I love working with all people and try to see the very best in everyone …. (I’ve had a wide range of jobs in the past.)
I have a passion for all things design … especially visual!
Challenges are thrilling for me … I don’t give up.
Creativity is essential to me, like breathing.
I try new things at least once a week and learn something new everyday.
Why UX/UI Design?
I don’t see UX/UI design so much as a complete career change, but more like an exension of what I was doing as a graphic designer. The digital interaction with apps and websites is more holistic in that it involves almost all five senses (except smell… but that could change.) As I evolve, I want to help others by designing apps and websites that are easily to navigate, engaging to interact with, and enjoyable to experience. Making people’s lives easier through design is something I really enjoy doing. Ultimately, I hope it saves people time since time so precious and it’s something that can never be given back.
Work experience.
